Travel Emergency Department RN - $2,135 per week
Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Emergency Department assignment in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
About the role
This 13-week travel assignment starts on July 6, 2026, with a schedule of 12-hour night shifts and a total of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively
- Administer medications and monitor side effects
- Document patient care with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Adhere to safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
Requirements
- 2+ years of Emergency Department experience
- Active RN licensure compliant with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
- Clinical experience in a Level 3 Trauma Emergency Department
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC (required)
- Certification: NRP (preferred)
- Knowledge of nursing process and clinical nursing practices

Pay
Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during an assignment.
