About the Role
Join a busy Emergency Department providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients at a regional medical center in Ottumwa, IA. This is a 13-week travel nursing contract with a day shift schedule (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM).
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a 17-bed Emergency Department.
- Adhere to a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6, managing approximately 40 patient visits per day.
- Work in a facility offering comprehensive services, including Critical Care, Med/Surg, Cath Lab, Women's Services, Pediatrics, and Rehab.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Emergency Department experience in an acute care setting.
- Active Iowa RN License (or eligible to work in Iowa).
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required.
- Experience with MediTech preferred.
- Previous travel experience is a plus.
Onboarding Requirements
- Iowa SING background check (Criminal & Child Abuse).
- Mandatory Reporter Certifications (Adult & Child).
- 10-panel drug screen (including opiates).
- Current titers (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB) within the last 12 months.

Schedule
