MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in the Emergency Department at a facility in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

About the role

This is a 13-week travel assignment starting 09/13/2026, with a schedule of 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention, recognizing and treating life-threatening conditions.
  • Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
  • Apply knowledge of general and specific health issues to deliver appropriate emergency care.
  • Perform triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
  • Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

  • Active RN license.
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications may be required.
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
  • Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
