Travel Emergency Department RN - $2,074 per week

Location: Pasadena, Texas. Start date: ASAP. Assignment duration: 13 weeks (full‑time, 36 hours per week). Employment type: Travel contract.

About the role

The Emergency Department is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced environment. The role requires critical thinking, trauma experience, and a commitment to patient safety and care. The RN will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional emergency care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients in the Emergency Department.
• Utilize advanced monitoring equipment and EKG machines.
• Participate in critical procedures including thoracotomy and arterial line placement.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes effectively.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care outcomes.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• ENPC, TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, CPI with TIC certifications required.
• Experience with trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis as core skills.
• Adult and pediatric ED experience preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
