About the role
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in our emergency department in Wytheville, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have a background in trauma care and will be skilled in managing a diverse patient population. This is a 13-week contract position.
Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in the ER.
- Adhere to established protocols for triaging patients in accordance with best practices.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and compliance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients.
- Utilize MedHost EHR for documentation and patient record management.
Requirements
- RN license required.
- Certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- Previous experience in the ER, with a preference for trauma experience.
- Familiarity with MedHost EHR is preferred.
