About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a 13-week assignment in Henderson, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Triage patients and provide initial assessment
- Perform emergency procedures as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans
- Document patient care in the electronic health record (EHR)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least one year of acute care experience preferred
Qualifications
- Experience in an emergency department setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
Skills
- Proficient in using the EHR system (Paragon)
