About the Role

Travel nursing position for an RN in the Emergency Department (ED) located in Wilson, North Carolina. Locals accepted at a reduced rate; candidates must reside 60 miles or greater to qualify as travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a 26-bed ED unit with patient ratios of 1:4-5 (flexible depending on acuity).
• Handle common diagnoses and treatments such as respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis, and hypertension.
• Utilize GE monitors, standard ED equipment, and Meditech EHR.
• Float to like assignments as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ED experience.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS.
• Associates of Nursing (or higher) required.
• Preferred attributes: team player, engaged, positive attitude.
• Dress code: any color scrubs.
