Job Description
We are seeking a high-caliber Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse for an exciting 13-week travel assignment at Memorial Health in Lawton, OK. If you are a critical thinker who thrives under pressure and enjoys working in a high-volume, collaborative environment, we want you on our team!
Facility Details & Unit Highlights
Facility: Memorial Health
Unit: Emergency Department (36 beds, serving ~59,000 patients annually)
Shift: Nights (12 hours)
Catchment: High-acuity department serving the Lawton community and surrounding areas, heavily collaborating with local EMS partners
Key Responsibilities
Perform rapid triage and comprehensive assessments for patients of all ages presenting with emergent, urgent, or traumatic conditions.
Provide immediate stabilization and intervention during Trauma activations, Code Blue, Stroke, and STEMI protocols.
Administer medications, monitor advanced medical equipment (cardiac monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps), and manage accurate EMR documentation.
Deliver empathetic, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Requirements
Minimum 1–2 years of recent ER or high-acuity Critical Care nursing experience
Active Oklahoma or Compact RN License
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Preferred Certifications: TNCC and ENPC are highly valued
Strong team player with exceptional communication skills
