Travel Emergency Department RN - $1,941 per week

About the role

The position is for a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department in Longview, Texas. The start date is ASAP and the duration is 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts at night.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments according to appropriate protocols, monitor for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers.
• Identify issues and resources to support patients and families.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• Two years of Emergency Department experience (ED, freestanding ER, ER code, ER urgent care, etc.).
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required (AHA only).
• RN License in the state of Texas or compact.

Schedule

Pay & Benefits
