About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to fill a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients from various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention and recognize and effectively treat life-threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Apply knowledge of general and specific health issues relevant to emergency treatment.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC may be required in some positions.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
• Additional requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Schedule

• Start Date: 08/24/2026
• Duration: 12 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts, evenings
