About the role
The Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting. The role requires a proactive approach in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care delivered to patients of all ages, with the ability to manage critical and non-critical situations effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients in the emergency department.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to the care plan.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required.
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS are required.
- Associates degree in Nursing is required.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for licensure in the state of North Carolina.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
