This position offers guaranteed hours and requires a commitment to providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment. Position Details Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours: 48 hours guaranteed with flexible options Start Date: November 30 Unit Information Location: Kansas City, MO Unit Capacity: 38 beds with three main areas: Rapid, Main, and POD 3 (psych-safe area) Staffing: 7 Day/Night RNs and 5 Mid Shift RNs Equipment: Ventilators, BiPAP machines, EKGs, Arterial lines, Belmont devices, and Chest tubes EMR System: Meditech Qualifications We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and qualifications: Required Skills: Prioritizing and Time Management De-escalation training (CPI preferred) Preferred Skills: Effective Time Management Team Player mentality Typical Procedures in the Unit Port Placement Chest Tube Insertion Ideal Candidate Profile The best candidates will demonstrate the following attributes: Patient-focused approach Strong attention to detail Positivity and coachability Team-oriented attitude Dress Code Uniform Attire: Navy Blue Scrubs Weekend Contributions Work schedule includes a minimum of 4 weekend shifts and 2 Fridays within a 4-week period, along with coverage for 2 major and 2 minor holidays.
