About the role
The Emergency Department (ED) at our facility is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in high-volume emergency settings. As part of a supportive and collaborative team, you will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as required.
- Auxiliary with medical procedures and diagnostic tests.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and communication with the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required before starting date.
- Ability to demonstrate teamwork and provide real-time feedback and coaching.
- Flexibility to float within all sections of the Emergency Department.
Qualifications
Must have a current, active, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
Skills
Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in computer systems are essential.

Pay & Schedule
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
