About the role

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in an acute care environment. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as per physician's orders.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Initiate IVs, perform blood draws, and carry out resuscitation procedures.
• Conduct EKGs and maintain accurate patient records using EMR - Meditech.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, technicians, and support staff.

Requirements

• Acute ER experience is required.
• Trauma experience preferred.
• Mandatory certifications: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, BLS.
• Active RN license in the state of Texas is required.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
