Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse - $2,875 per week

Job Details

• Shift: 12 HR Nights
• Total Weekly Hours: 48

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Required Experience

• 2 years of experience required; will review for 1.5 years
• Level II Trauma experience required
• Travel experience is strongly preferred, but not required if the traveler has 2+ years of Level 1 Trauma experience
• Trauma/Resuscitation experience preferred
• Médication administration, including IV medication via the seven medication rights

Preferred Experience

• Level 1 trauma experience
• Previous Charge Experience
• Charting System Experience (Cerner is preferred)

Licensure

• NM license can pend at time of submission

Other Requirements

• No locals within 100 miles
• RQI certifications not accepted
• EKG testing: Pass/Fail, 2 tries max; 6-month system DNR if failed twice
• Behavioral Health: MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior) certification required; pass in-person training during orientation week if not already certified

Scheduling

• 36 or 48-hour shifts available
• Must float within scope to meet facility needs, including Peds ED, Adult PCUs, ED Holding, and Trauma
• Weekend coverage as needed (Weekend days: Saturday and Sunday; weekend nights: Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
