Facility Specific Job Notes
- At least 2+ years ED RN experience required
- Must have at least 1+ year of travel experience
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC required
- Experience as a preceptor and/or charge preferred but not required
- Willingness to help precept eventually is required but not immediately
- Must be able to handle patients from ESI level 1-5, take 4-5:1 ratio, and manage stroke, STEMI, trauma, and sepsis patients
- Must be able to triage and assess patients quickly
- Required clinical skills: PIV, NG/OG tubes, foley placement, splinting, wound care
- Must know how to assist with art line, central line, and chest tube placement
- Required: triage, PIV, port access/deaccess, foley placement, NG/OG placement, wound care, splint/OCL application
- Preferred: US guided IV
