About the role
Travel nurse RN position in the Emergency Department at a 64‑bed facility in Utica, New York. Specialty: ED; Discipline: RN; Duration: 16 weeks; 36 hours per week; 12‑hour evening shifts; Employment type: TotalMed RN is a Top Ten travel nursing and healthcare staffing agency that places clinicians nationwide. The ED comprises 2 triage bays, 40 acute beds, 6 super‑track beds, 2 trauma bays, 10 CDU beds, and 6 psychiatric beds. Patient population includes newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Staffing ratios: Acute 1:4, Subacute 1:6, Trauma 1:1, Psych 1:6, CDU 1:5. Common diagnoses: stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, respiratory failure. Block scheduling is not guaranteed.
Requirements
- 2+ years of recent ED experience, with some pediatric (PEDS) exposure
- Prior travel nursing experience
