About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a 13-week assignment in Wilson, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Triage patients based on acuity levels
- Perform initial assessments and provide emergency care
- Administer medications and treatments as necessary
- Document patient encounters and treatments in the EHR system
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare team members
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina
- Current BLS certification
- At least one year of acute care experience preferred
Qualifications
- Experience in an ED setting preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, and nights
Skills
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Meditech EHR system
