About the role
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The position requires teamwork, strong clinical skills, and the ability to handle emergency situations efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients in emergency situations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor vital signs and patient condition.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Document patient care efficiently using EPIC documentation system.
- Floate to other units as necessary based on patient care needs.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee.
- 1 year of experience in the Emergency Room setting is required.
- 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR is required.
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI, PALS are required; TNCC is preferred.
- Previous charge experience is a plus.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
