Travel Electrophysiology Technologist - $3,060 per week

About the role

Electrophysiology (CCL EP) Technologist providing specialized support in cardiac electrophysiology procedures within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Interventional Radiology Suite. The role involves assisting with complex vascular and cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining procedural efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work in Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology suites supporting procedures such as peripheral, cardiac catheterizations, PCI, and device placements for adult patients
• Collaborate with a team consisting of two registered nurses and one technologist
• Participate in call responsibilities
• Float to Non-Invasive Cardiovascular services as needed

Requirements

• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• Certified Radiologic Technologist – ARRT (R)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience
• Current West Virginia license
• Current certification must be maintained
• Experience with Acist injector preferred
• Familiarity with IABP and IVUS preferred

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 07:00–15:30 (four 10‑hour days)
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• Call shifts approximately 10–11 times per month, including weekends, with response time expected from 15:30 to 07:00

Additional information

• Orientation includes two shifts with a preceptor, followed by buddy calls supporting common adult cardiac procedures
• Environment uses electronic medical records and equipment systems such as EPIC and XperCharge
• Scrubs provided (navy blue for RN, burgundy for Rad Tech)
