About the role
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Electrophysiology Technician for a contract position in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to the cardiac catheterization and EP team.
- Use imaging equipment to assist in detecting and treating heart and blood vessel issues.
- Review patient histories and verify medical orders.
- Evaluate images for quality and ensure the inclusion of relevant areas.
- Communicate findings to the doctor.
- Assist in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Electrophysiology Lab.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and practice guidelines.
- Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
Requirements
- Current license in good standing.
- Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
- Eighteen months of EP Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
