Requirements

• Current license in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• Eighteen months of EP Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care in the electrophysiology lab by providing technical assistance to the cardiac catheterization and EP team
• Use imaging equipment to help the doctor detect and treat heart and blood vessel issues
• Execute any noninvasive course of action
• Review patient history and verify medical orders
• Evaluate images for quality and ensure the area of interest is included
• Distinguish normal from abnormal images and communicate results to the physician
• Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the EP lab
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner
• Maintain a patient‑focused environment of excellence, providing timely, compassionate care
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly
