About the role
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Electrophysiology Technician for a contract position in St Augustine, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to the cardiac catheterization and EP team.
- Use imaging equipment to help the doctor detect and treat heart and blood vessel issues.
- Review patient history and verify medical orders.
- Evaluate images and communicate results to the doctor.
- Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Electrophysiology Lab.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and professional guidelines.
- Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
Requirements
- Current license in good standing.
- Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
- Eighteen months of EP Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
