Aya Healthcare has an immediate opening for an Electrophysiology Tech in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This position offers a competitive salary range of $2765.40 to $2958.60 weekly for a 13-week assignment. Shifts are available from 07:00 - 17:30, Monday through Friday.

About the Role

As an Electrophysiology Tech, you will be responsible for assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to heart rhythm disorders. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology studies
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist during the procedure
• Monitor patient vitals and report any changes to the physician
• Collaborate with the interventional team to ensure successful outcomes
• Follow hospital and department policies and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of relevant experience in a healthcare setting
• Current certification as an Electrophysiology Technician or equivalent
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job
