Requirements

• Current RN license in the State of Colorado
• BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire
• TNCC required upon hire or within 1 year
• ENPC or PALS required within 6 months; ENPC preferred
• At least two years of critical care nursing experience preferred
• Specialty certification for specialty areas preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for emergency room patients
• Triage patients based on various needs and patient flow factors
• Move patients, take blood samples, perform wound care, administer medications, and maintain supplies
• Perform focused assessment based on established triage guidelines
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and Nurse Practice Act limitations
• Manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
