About the role
Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a 13-week assignment starting August 31, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients according to medical protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and composure under pressure.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a ED RN, but exceptional candidates with strong passion may be considered.
- Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
- Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.
- Pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a ED RN is preferred, but we are open to exceptional candidates with a strong passion.
- Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure, especially during stressful and fast-paced moments in the healthcare setting.
- Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
