About the role
The registered nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care using the nursing process. Accepts responsibility for the direction of co-workers and delegation of role-appropriate tasks in the implementation of care. Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care of each patient according to the nursing process.
- Provides quality care based on assessment needs and established plan of care/pathway.
- Provides education for the patient and family/significant other from admission through discharge process.
- Documentation of the nursing process/pathway must be thorough, concise, accurate, and legible.
- Notifies physician of pertinent observations and changes in the status of the patient.
- Administers medications and performs treatments in an accurate and safe manner.
- Implements physician orders as written and ensures equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care.
Requirements
- Education: Associate degree in nursing; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio; CPR certification required.
- Experience: Previous nursing experience preferred.

Schedule
- 7AM-7PM shift schedule
