Travel ED RN - $1,813 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Longview, Texas. The competent Nurse practices independently and demonstrates an awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation, providing routine and complex care.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders
• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Addresses increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with their level of practice
• Administers medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitors for side effects and effectiveness of the prescribed treatment
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identifies issues and resources

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• One year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications (AHA only)
• Current RN License in the state of TX or compact

Schedule

36 hours per week, 12 hour shifts, nights. Weekend requirements: Yes, 6 days per 6 weeks schedule period.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
