Travel Echocardiography Technologist - $3,446 per week
About the role
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist (Echo) with a minimum of 2 years of experience and a current RDCS (Adult Echo) certification for a 13-week travel assignment in Alaska.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic echocardiography and radiographic examinations for diagnostic interpretation, applying principles of radiation protection
- Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the life span to provide age-appropriate patient care
- Maintain patient records and files, and support departmental quality assurance
- Work with patients and staff of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist with Echo focus
- RDCS (Adult Echo) certification required
- Multimodality certification preferred
- BLS/BCLS required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited ECHO training program required
- Flu vaccine required
- Licenses required if applicable

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
