Travel Echocardiography Technologist - $3,446 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist (Echo) with a minimum of 2 years of experience and a current RDCS (Adult Echo) certification for a 13-week travel assignment in Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic echocardiography and radiographic examinations for diagnostic interpretation, applying principles of radiation protection
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the life span to provide age-appropriate patient care
• Maintain patient records and files, and support departmental quality assurance
• Work with patients and staff of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist with Echo focus
• RDCS (Adult Echo) certification required
• Multimodality certification preferred
• BLS/BCLS required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited ECHO training program required
• Flu vaccine required
• Licenses required if applicable

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
