Travel Echocardiography Technologist - $2,827 per week
Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 3+ years of experience and RDCS or CCI certification for a day shift position in an echocardiography lab.
Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Rotational weekend shifts required with negotiable holiday coverage
Uses Epic EMR for charting
Performs full range of cardiac diagnostic testing and echocardiographic sonography imaging procedures
Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of Echo Tech experience
- Associate's Degree in Ultrasound required
- RDCS (ARDMS) or CCI certification required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Licenses required if applicable
- Epic EMR charting experience required
- Strong task prioritization and patient flow coordination skills
About the Role
Oversees technical procedures, patient care, and workflows in the echocardiography laboratory
Assists performing physicians and sonographers in delivering high-quality echocardiographic exams
Critiques positioning, technical factors, and alignment to maintain imaging quality standards
Reviews patient data for accuracy, quality, and completeness
Documents all procedures accurately and completely
Qualifications
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, no local candidates accepted
RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract period
