Travel Echocardiography Technologist - $2,624 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Santa Fe, New Mexico, starting 10/12/2026. The position is full‑time (40 hours/week) on 10‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of supervising physicians in the Non‑Invasive Cardiology Lab, prepare patients for examination.
• Perform all 2‑dimensional echoes, M‑mode and Doppler studies.
• Prepare preliminary interpretation of those studies.
• Prepare and maintain records of echo studies.
• Assist supervising physicians with the training of residents, fellows, faculty and other physicians.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
• Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accurate preliminary interpretation.
• Successful completion of a cardiac echocardiography technology program (graduate of a cardiac echocardiography technology program).

Skills

• Knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
• Ability to read, interpret, apply, and follow physicians’ orders, policies, procedures, and written or verbal instructions.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Weekly pay and direct deposit are provided; exact hourly wage and stipend will be confirmed by your recruiter.
