Required Qualifications

• Certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification
• Active Iowa license at the time of submission
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or ARC/Red Cross
• At least 2 years of current Cardiovascular Vascular Sonographer experience
• At least 1 travel contract completed
• Work history/resume/employment history must reflect 24 months of similar experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid Echo tech skills
• Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Experience with performing 7-8 scans per day
• Professional references within the past 24 months

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts
• Approximately 1-2 nights of call per week
• 1-2 weekends of call per month
• Holiday work during Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day may be required

Additional Information

• The traveler will be expected to work during 1-2 of the three summer holidays
• The role does not require full cardiovascular skill set but necessitates solid Echo tech expertise

Pay Package

Based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
