About the role
PRIDE Health is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a 26-week assignment starting July 27, 2026, at a hospital in Peoria, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for echocardiogram exams
- Operate ultrasound equipment
- Capture images of the heart
- Absorb and assist doctors in interpreting results
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as an Echo Technologist from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Experience in performing echocardiograms
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Pass a criminal background check
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
