Travel Echocardiography Technologist - $2,170 per week
Job Summary
The role involves performing comprehensive echocardiography studies, including stress, TEE, Dobutamine Stress Echo, and contrast studies within a high-volume cardiac diagnostic department. The position supports a fast-paced, academic medical environment dedicated to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Certification in RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) or ACS (Advanced Cardiac Sonographer through CCI)
- BLS
- State license or national certification specific to echocardiography
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an echocardiographer
Preferred Qualifications
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are preferred
Support within the Department
- Dedicated Cardiac Ultrasound Educator and Chief Sonographer
- A team of 19 Echo technologists, 5 registered nurses, and 2 exercise physiologists
Technology/Equipment
- Philips, GE echocardiography systems
- GE stress lab
- EMR system is EPIC - Encompass
- Philips ISCV reporting system for ECHO
