Travel Echocardiography Technician - Full-Time

Role Overview Perform diagnostic cardiac/vascular and ultrasound exams to assist in patient diagnosis under physician supervision. Responsibilities Prepare exam rooms, obtain informed consent, review patient history, and select appropriate protocols. Explain procedures, position patients, assess their needs, and conduct tests to monitor ongoing conditions. Evaluate test quality, ensure accurate documentation, and coordinate image preparation for physicians. Communicate patient information thoroughly, inform patients of physician instructions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safety and efficiency. Maintain equipment safety and reliability, report issues, order supplies, and keep the work environment clean. Transport patients as needed, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and promote organizational values. Perform additional duties as assigned, ensure safety protocols, and adhere to scheduled on-site shifts.
