About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Boston, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Perform non-invasive diagnostic tests for cardiovascular diseases in support of quality patient care
- Preliminary echocardiographic measurements
- Summarize diagnostic data
- Communicate findings to the manager or requesting physician
- Participate in every other weekend rotation
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of echo experience, including transthoracic and dobutamine stress echocardiography
- Active RDMS certification and BLS required
- MA state license required if applicable
- Knowledge of cardiology, medical terminology, basic physics, biology, and anatomy
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient health information
- Bilingual or multilingual skills beyond English are a plus
Qualifications
- 2 professional references required for consideration — at least one must be from a manager-level or above (not a supervisor), and one must include a performance evaluation completed within the last 12 months; the second reference may be within 3 years
- At least one reference is preferred from a prior travel or temporary assignment

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
