Travel Echo Technologist - $3,006 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a travel job in Mankato, Minnesota. TotalMed is a Top Ten travel nursing and healthcare staffing agency with the mission of igniting purpose in healthcare. They staff nurses, therapists, pharmacists, and other clinicians in all 50 states, offering local and travel jobs. The position is for a 13‑week travel assignment, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts. The role requires 1 year of experience and appropriate certifications.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and/or patient's family regarding procedures performed
• Demonstrate competence in performance of echocardiographic studies
• Consistently perform quality Doppler and color Doppler Exams
• Acquire quality Stress Echo and Dobutamine images according to Physician and benchmark standards
• Perform quality Trans esophageal echocardiograms according to physician expectations
• Demonstrate an understanding of cardiac disease processes and acquired images
• Report findings or concerns to reading physician for prompt interpretation
• Perform all related processing required for each completed study
• Maintain equipment including cleaning and disinfecting according to department procedure and identifying problems with equipment and reporting appropriately
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Echo Technologist
• Current BLS certification
• ARDMS‑RDCS or CCI‑RS National Certification (or equivalent)
• State‑specific licensing when required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Schedule

13‑week travel assignment, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts.
