Travel Echo Technologist - $2,923 per week

About the role

Travel Echocardiogram Technologist position in Yakima, WA. 13-week assignment starting November 16, 2026, 40 hours per week on 8-hour day shifts. Immediate opening for an Echo Tech with at least 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and/or patient's family regarding procedures performed
• Demonstrate competence in performance of echocardiographic studies
• Consistently perform quality Doppler and color Doppler exams
• Acquire quality stress echo and dobutamine images according to physician and benchmark standards
• Perform quality transesophageal echocardiograms according to physician expectations
• Demonstrate an understanding of cardiac disease processes and acquired images
• Report findings or concerns to reading physician for prompt interpretation
• Perform all related processing required for each completed study
• Maintain equipment including cleaning and disinfecting according to department procedure, and identify and report equipment problems
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Echo Technologist (note: some requirements indicate 4 years)
• BLS certification
• ARDMS RDCS or CCI RS national certification
• State-specific licensing as required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment start
