Travel Echo Technologist - $2,608 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a travel job in Parker, Colorado. The position is for an Echocardiogram Technologist (Echo Tech) with an immediate travel opening. The role involves performing echocardiographic studies, preparing and caring for patients, operating cardiac ultrasound equipment, ensuring image quality, and reporting findings to physicians.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and/or patient's family regarding procedures performed
• Demonstrate competence in performance of echocardiographic studies
• Consistently perform quality Doppler and color Doppler Exams
• Acquire quality Stress Echo and Dobutamine images according to Physician and benchmark standards
• Perform quality Trans esophageal echocardiograms according to physician expectations
• Demonstrate an understanding of cardiac disease processes and acquired images
• Report findings or concerns to reading physician for prompt interpretation
• Perform all related processing required for each completed study
• Maintain equipment including cleaning and disinfecting according to department procedure and identifying problems with equipment and reporting appropriately
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Echo Technologist
• Current BLS certification
• ARDMS‑RDCS or CCI‑RS national certification (or equivalent)
• State‑specific licensing when required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, and to bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
