This role also involves assisting in specialized procedures such as extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) evaluations and ventricular assist device (VAD) studies. Key responsibilities include: Demonstrating advanced knowledge of congenital anatomy, surgical repairs, and age-dependent physiology. Supporting high-acuity diagnostic and clinical decision-making. Understanding the patient's exam rationale and acquiring high-quality diagnostic images. Providing accurate preliminary findings in a timely manner. Complying with patient privacy and safety guidelines. Adhering to departmental and organizational policies. Responsibilities may be subject to change at the discretion of department leadership to meet evolving needs.
