Travel Echo Technologist - $2,392 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a travel job in Bay City, Michigan. The position is a 13‑week assignment requiring 40 hours per week on 10‑hour day shifts. The role is for an Echocardiogram Technologist (Echo Tech) with immediate availability.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and/or patient's family regarding procedures performed
• Demonstrate competence in performance of echocardiographic studies
• Consistently perform quality Doppler and color Doppler Exams
• Acquire quality Stress Echo and Dobutamine images according to Physician and benchmark standards
• Perform quality Trans esophageal echocardiograms according to physician expectations
• Demonstrate an understanding of cardiac disease processes and acquired images
• Report findings or concerns to reading physician for prompt interpretation
• Perform all related processing required for each completed study
• Maintain equipment including cleaning and disinfecting according to department procedure and identifying problems with equipment and reporting appropriately
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience
• BLS certification
• ARDMS‑RDCS or CCI‑RS National Certification (or state‑specific licensing when required)
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• BLS, CCI (RCS), 2 Years (additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment)
