About the role

Travel Echo Technologist position in Columbus, Ohio. 13-week contract, 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts (7:30am–4:00pm), 5 days per week.

Qualifications

• Current certification as Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Echo Technologist
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated competency in echocardiographic imaging and instrumentation
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in image acquisition and documentation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cardiac ultrasound studies, including transthoracic and stress echocardiograms
• Use advanced imaging equipment to collect optimal cardiac images for physician interpretation
• Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and contribute to patient safety at all times
• Accurately document findings and maintain complete, organized patient records
• Work closely with cardiologists and other clinicians, delivering high-quality, professional patient care
• Provide guidance and support to patients, ensuring they are comfortable and informed throughout the exam process

Pay

Estimated weekly earnings: $2,012 – $2,122 per week (based on 40 hours/week, includes hourly wages and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates; actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility, and seasonal adjustments). Pay package based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
