Travel Echo Technician

Role Overview

An Echo Tech performs cardiac ultrasound procedures to assess heart structures and blood flow, obtaining precise measurements and supporting physicians with complex procedures. They assist in departmental operations, manage documentation, and ensure smooth workflow.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cardiac ultrasounds and obtain accurate measurements
• Assist physicians with TEE testing and complex procedures
• Support departmental functions and manage documentation

Requirements

• Completion of an Echocardiogram program or equivalent training
• Current BCLS certification
• At least one year of Echo Tech experience
• Ability to assist with TEE testing
• ARDMS or CCI certification required from July 1, 2017

Qualifications

• Hospital cardiology experience preferred

Pay

$60.00–$70.00 per hour based on a 36-hour schedule.
