Travel Echo Technician - $1,952 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Echo Technician for a travel job in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for examination, performs all 2-dimensional echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies.
• Prepares and maintains records of patient echo studies.
• Aids supervising physicians in training of residents, fellows, faculty, and other physicians.
• Knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
• Ability to read, interpret, apply, and/or follow physicians' orders, policies, procedures, or written and verbal instructions.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
• Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accurate preliminary interpretation.
• Successful completion of a cardiac echocardiography technology program (graduate of cardiac echocardiography technology program).

Requirements include successful completion of accredited training courses in cardiac technology and ultrasound, interpretation skills, and a graduate of a cardiac echocardiography technology program.

Skills

• Knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shifts are 12 hours, nights.
