About the role
A pediatric cardiac sonographer position is available in Iowa City, IA. This role will be working in the radiology/cardiology department.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac ultrasounds on pediatric patients
- Document findings accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a sonographer in Iowa
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Experience with pediatric patients
- Proficiency in using the Epic charting system
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in sonography or related field
- Knowledge of pediatric anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
