About the role

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer for an outpatient cardiology assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. The role is based in an outpatient cardiology/Echo department setting, working weekend shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM (4 × 10‑hour days) for 40 hours per week. The assignment starts October 5, 2026 and lasts 13 weeks, with one opening available.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac sonography studies for outpatient cardiology patients.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Echo/Cardiac Sonography.
• Active certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start.
• License required if applicable.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered.
