Travel Dialysis Technician - $1,300 per week

About the role

Travel Dialysis Technician position in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 13‑week assignment starting 11/23/2026. Full‑time travel role: 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts. Minimum 36‑hour weekly guarantee (see Schedule for conditions).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for assigned patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Accurately document information related to patient treatment.
• Assist licensed nurse with pre‑ and post‑dialysis patient assessments and their documentation.
• Monitor and document dialysis treatment parameters on Dialysis Flow Sheets.
• Report any significant information or change in patient condition to the supervisor.
• Assist with all emergency operational procedures.
• Initiate basic CPR measures in the event of cardiac and/or pulmonary arrest and respond to emergency situations related to dialysis treatment.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months recent dialysis experience.
• Certification required: CCHT, CHT, or BONENT.
• Previous patient care experience in a hospital/clinical setting or related facility preferred.
• Dialysis procedures/treatments and machine experience required.
• Successful completion of a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis.
• Current CPR certification.
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Education in physical sciences and/or training in laboratory techniques preferred.

Schedule

• Shifts will be discussed in detail during the interview; role requires a commitment of 40 hours plus overtime.
• Floating to area sites within 50 miles of the main site is required.
• Minimum guarantee of 36 hours per week.
• Guaranteed hours are not eligible if any of the following occur: schedule requests/restrictions, refusal to float, late to shift, leaving early, calling out, or planned time off.
