Travel Dentist: Southern IL and IN

About the Role

This is a travel position covering southern Illinois and southern Indiana. The Mobile Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care to underserved patients in skilled‑nursing facilities, traveling at least one week per month. All travel expenses are fully covered, and the clinician is paid for both drive time and in‑clinic time (approximately 8 hours per day, with locations ranging from 20 minutes to 2 hours away). The role is open to new college graduates as well as experienced dentists.

Responsibilities

• Develop treatment plans to manage, improve, and treat dental and oral health issues.
• Perform simple procedures such as exams, fillings, extractions, and denture‑related services.
• Order diagnostic measures, such as x‑rays.
• Apply helpful agents to teeth (e.g., silver diamine fluoride) to arrest decay.
• Maintain accurate dental records.
• Communicate with the facility and family to ensure proper support for daily oral hygiene.
• Conduct oral cancer screenings.
• Focus on patient care while the clinical operations team handles scheduling and billing.

Qualifications

• Active dental license in both Illinois and Indiana.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel at least one week per month.
• New college graduate or experienced dentist eligible.

Compensation

Competitive pay with a minimum daily guarantee. Both drive time and clinic time are fully compensated.

Schedule

Commitment of at least one week per month, with typical workdays of about 8 hours including drive time.
