About the role

Seeking experienced Level 2 Data Center Technicians to join a specialized deployment team supporting a large-scale fiber infrastructure upgrade across multiple data center locations nationwide. This team will serve as the first wave on-site, helping establish processes, procedures, and best practices during the initial 6–8 weeks of each project. Between travel assignments, technicians will support operations within their local data center market. This role is ideal for candidates who can quickly step into complex environments, work independently, and contribute from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Replace legacy coax cabling with fiber
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues
  • Ensure projects are set up for long-term success before transitioning work to ongoing installation teams

Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with frequent nationwide travel (approximately 75%)
  • Travel assignments may last up to two weeks at a time before returning home
  • All travel arrangements will be coordinated by the company
  • Approved business expenses incurred during travel will be reimbursed
  • Strong adaptability, communication skills, and ability to work in dynamic environments

Pay

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
