About the role
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Reno, Nevada.
Responsibilities
- Prepare supplies, equipment, and instrumentation for CVOR surgical procedures.
- Assist in case setup, patient positioning, and room turnover.
- Perform instrument, sponge, and sharp counts under the supervision of an RN.
- Anticipate and manage surgical field needs.
- Participate in on-call rotations for 11 shifts per month, including nights and weekends.
Requirements
- BLS certification
- NBSTS certification (Certified Surgical Technologist)
- 2+ years of recent CVOR surgical technologist experience
- First and second scrub experience required
- Travel experience required
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and modalities/procedural requirements
Qualifications
- Current certification in BLS
- Current certification in NBSTS
- Recent experience as a CVOR surgical technologist
- Experience with first and second scrub roles
- Ability to travel
